Solanum lycopersicon (60-65 days, Determinate/bush) This vigorous northern heirloom was bred in the 1950s for the short growing season of the Canadian prairie at the Morden Experimental Farms in Manitoba. An open pollinated early producer with excellent yield, these non-vining bushy plants produce lots of round, medium size, bright red tomatoes weighing about 6 oz each. Smooth skin, firm, meaty flesh with full-flavored tangy tomato taste. Perfect for slicing and preserving. Resistant to Fusarium Wilt and Verticillium Wilt. Well suited to container or limited space gardens.
