Growing Notes
Start in shallow flats, planting 1/4" deep about 8 weeks prior to transplanting. Days to Emerge: 10-25 days. Pepper seeds germinate slowly in cooler soil; maintain soil tem- peratures 70-90°F. When 2 sets of true leaves appear, transplant seedlings into 2" cells or 4" pots. Keep warm at room temperature (about 70°F) by day and cooler (about 60°F) at night. Transplant after danger of frost when the soil is warm and weather is steady. Plant 12-18" apart in rows 24-36" between. Full sun. Moderate water.
