Growing Notes
Watermelon radish thrives in cooler weather and can be direct sown as soon as the spring soil can be worked. Sow seeds 1/4-1/2" deep and space plants 2-3" apart with rows 6-12" apart. Firm soil lightly. Germinates in 4-6 days. Plants need about 1” of rain per week; if necessary, water early in the day.
