Petunia hybrida pendula Shades of rose, lavender, fushsia and purple in delightfully fragrant blooms. This heirloom petunia variety was all the rage with gardeners throughout the early 1900s. Petunias are among the most popular flowering annuals, blooming all summer long until frost. Amazingly easy to grow in the garden and containers. Trailing plants are perfect for hanging baskets and window boxes adding color and fragrance.
Growing Notes
Surface sow, keep uniformly moist and very warm, ideally 75-80°F. Germ: 7-14 days. Grow seedlings indoors 8-10 weeks; set out after last frost when soils warm to at least 60°F. Full sun to partial shade. Plant spacing: 6-8". Pinch young shoots for a more compact growth habit.
