Growing Notes
Requires 2-3 years from seed to harvest; once established, this perennial needs little maintenance. Seeds take up to 3 weeks to germinate. Can be sown indoors 10 to 14 weeks before the target set-out date, after the danger of frost. Start in full sun with adequate water in rich, well-drained soil. Sow 1/2” deep. After last frost, plant in an outdoor bed in full sun with rich soil, 2-3 feet apart in each direction and 2-3 inches deep.
