Melon: Minnesota Midget
CERTIFIED ORGANIC SEED, 1 packet (25 seeds)
Cucumis melo (75 days) Luscious, sweet, delicious-- this delightful little heirloom muskmelon produces a bounty of early, and true-to-its-name, mini cantaloupes. The fruits average 4-6 inches across, boasting deep orange flesh. Bred by the University of Minnesota, released in 1948, this is a terrific melon for short-season areas but can be grown in longer-season areas as well. Its compact plants are Fusarium wilt resistant and are ideal for small space or container gardens.
