Homesteader green peas are a shell pea type-- producing 4-5" pods, each containing 6-9 sweet, green peas.

Growing Notes
Vining habit; 18-30 inches; best if you provide a trellis or a fence. Plant green pea seeds at a planting depth of 1-2 inches; plant spacing: 2 inches apart; 2-3 feet between rows.
Soil Temp. for Germination: 50-75 °F. Days to Germination: 5-8 days; slower germ in cooler soil temps. Plant in full sun; tolerates partial shade.
