A pre-1870 heirloom with lovely clusters of rose-shaped blooms in many shades of pink, lavender, red, rose, and white. These easy-to-grow, practically care-free vintage flowers bloom for 10-12 weeks. The 12-24” plants with bright green leaves, create an eye-catching swath of color that lures butterflies and pollinators. A must for the cottage flower garden; does well in container gardens.

Growing Notes
Days to Germination: 10 - 15. Keep soil moist while germinating. For starts: Sow indoors about 6 weeks before last frost date. Planting depth: 1/8". Water thoroughly and keep moist, but not too wet. Transplant when danger of frost has passed. Transplant spacing 12-18" apart. Direct seeding: After frost danger, sow 1/8" deep, 3-4" apart. Water thoroughly and keep moist. Thin or transplant to 12-18" apart.
