Rudbeckia hirta (USDA zones 3-7) This perennial North American native wildflower blooms from mid-summer throughout the fall. Daisy-like flowers with golden yellow petals, this beautiful heirloom rudbeckia is a great cut flower and will easily re-seed itself to naturalize in wildflower areas. Often treated as an annual— sown from seed. If started inside early enough, will bloom the first year.

Start Inside: 8 to 10 weeks before your average last frost date. Seeding Depth: Surface sow and press into surface; needs light to germinate.
