Eruca sativa (21 days baby; 35 days) Long graceful, strap-shaped leaves that are less lobed and milder than regular arugula. Perks up salads, homemade pizza, stir-fries, and sandwiches with a nutty, peppery taste. Perfect for baby greens in early spring and late fall, even into winter with protection. Very cold hardy with a mild flavor when grown in cool weather. Germinates quickly; dense clusters of thick lush leaves. Performs well as micro-greens or a cut-and-come-again crop. Edible flowers are also prized for salads.

Growing Notes
Direct seed 1/8-1/4" deep from early spring onward at 30-50 seeds/ft or start indoors and transplant. Germinates in 5-7 days. Succession plant every 2-3 weeks for continual supply. Keep soil moist for milder flavor and to slow bolting. Floating row covers are recommended where flea beetles are an issue.
